For the second consecutive year, Angel Park Golf Club was named as one of "America's Top 50 Courses for Women," by Golf Digest

As explained in the June 2011 issue of Golf Digest, golf clubs that made the list feature:

"A female-friendly design, amenities, courteous staff, programs and an atmosphere that appeals to women."  The editors relied on a panel of more than 100 of its female golf course raters who fanned out over the country to nominate and evaluate the multitude of daily-fee and resort courses based on, "...how well they met the women-friendly criteria established by the editors.  Among them: at least one set of tees less than 5,300 yards, at least two sets of tees with USGA Slope and Course Ratings for women, minimal forced carries from the forward tees, and run-up areas to most or all greens."

Doug Roberts - 2-time Utah Section PGA Teacher of the Year (2009/2010); past Director of Instruction at the Nicklaus Academy at The Ledges (St. George, UT) and the exclusive Estancia Club and TPC of Scottsdale in Arizona; lead technician for the Nicklaus/Flick and ESPN Golf Schools; and studied under the careful watch of Mr. Jim Flick (Teacher of the Century) and Mike Malaska (World-wide Director of Instruction for Nicklaus Academies and a Top 25 Instructor). Doug will be available at the Academy 2 or more days each week.
