Three OB Sports-Managed Golf Clubs Rollout Golfer Stimulus Plan
In the dark days following one of the largest financial catastrophes of the past 100 years, which included a triple-7, single-day drop in the Dow Jones, the federal government saw fit to bail out the very people and institutions responsible for the collapse while doing little to help those of us most affected by this meltdown.
Well, the folks at OB Sports think it’s high time their loyal constituency receives a little love in these trying times, which is why they created the Golfers Stimulus Plan. Aliante, Angel Park and The Legacy have joined forces to provide golfers with innovative money-saving programs that are sure to get golfers back on the links before you can say Credit Default Swap.
First of all, they decided to roll back green fees to where they were a
decade ago; so now you can “Golf Like It’s 1999.” Say goodbye to “the
green fee formerly known as $159,” and say hello to a more attractive
$99 rate. Simply book online at AlianteGolf.com, AngelPark.com or TheLegacyGC.com.

Golfers from California and Nevada are about to agree with this recent quote from well-known announcer, Ben Wright. The golf icon commented not only on the grandeur of the scenery, reminding him of “his home in Scotland,” but also on the “golfing rewards” to be found on all nine courses: Carson Valley, Dayton Valley, Eagle Valley East and West, Empire Ranch, Genoa Lakes Golf Club – The Lakes & The Resort, Silver Oak and Sunridge.
Located within 35 miles of easy-to-reach Carson City, the Divine 9 seem to be transforming Nevada’s capital into the capital of year-round golf destinations. And no wonder. The area’s unique natural terrain, temperate climate and favorable elevation (at 4,600 feet, golfers can expect 10 percent more distance from their drives) have attracted some of golf’s leading course designers, including Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller, John Harbottle and Peter Jacobsen.
