Advantage Rent-A-Car is unique in the greater Las Vegas area in that it has the benefits of both a homegrown company and a large corporation. The company began operating as US Rent-a-Car in 1978 and, thanks to founder and president Maria Romano, is the first woman-owned rental car company to have a location in any United States airport. Advantage is recognized by the State of Nevada as a certified woman-owned company and a registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.

In June 2006, US Rent-a-Car merged with Advantage Rent-A-Car. Advantage is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and has a rich history all its own. In 1963 a small business called “Three Ninety-Nine Car Rentals” opened its doors serving the large military population in San Antonio, Texas. Growing very quickly over the next 20 years into feeder and leisure markets throughout the western United States, in 1985 the operation was consolidated under one name – Advantage Rent A Car. Initially serving the government traveler, they expanded by developing market share in the local retail and airport markets. Advantage currently maintains more than 150 locations throughout the US, and has an international network with more than 130 locations in 33 countries.

Advantage offers numerous great benefits to its Las Vegas customers including three convenient locations: McCarran International Airport and 4744 Paradise Road, both open 24 hours, and Main Street Station Hotel & Casino. The location on 4744 Paradise Road caters to both visitors and locals.  This particular location also serves as the hub for our Park-and-Fly, where customers can park their personal vehicles on our property, which has 24-hour video surveillance, and are shuttled by our courtesy drivers to McCarran.

With over 1,400 vehicles in our Las Vegas fleet, vehicles are available in every class-type from Economy to Luxury as well as specialty vehicles such as the Cadillac Escalade and the Hummer H3. We have access to our Exotic line comprised of vehicles such as Lamborghinis and Bentleys. Advantage Rent-A-Car has an uncapped Frequent Renter Program in which with every car rental there can be earned points towards free car rental days.
