Aliante Golf Club Offers Free Golf Club Rentals to Air Travelers Print E-mail
Wednesday, 23 July 2008

Aliante Golf ClubAliante Golf Club will offer a premium rental set of golf clubs free of charge to air travelers. The special promotion, running now until August 31, 2008, is in response to a new policy soon to be adopted by most airlines that will charge passengers for checking luggage.

Those traveling golfers who wish to take advantage of the offer are only required to present their airline ticket at check in and pay the posted green fee. They can then choose from a premium set of Callaway or Cleveland golf clubs.

"I think we are all feeling the crunch from higher fuel costs and the airlines charging to check luggage is an example of how the added expense has rippled through the economy," said Randy Weigman, General Manager of Aliante Golf Club.
