New in 2010 cardholders may now play PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs at preferred rates. 2009 PGA Fall Expo A golf industry career fair will be staged for the first time at the 2009 PGA Fall Expo, September 1 and 2, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and produced in partnership by PGA Golf Exhibitions, The PGA of America and leading golf industry employers.

DICK’S Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy are announcing recruitment efforts and company informational sessions throughout the two-day industry gathering.

The initial career fair at this year’s PGA Fall Expo will include PGA Professional employment workshops, recruitment services by leading industry employers, on-site interviewing for a variety of industry positions, PGA Employment Services, industry job boards and a resume posting service.

Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Schedules Gala Opening of New Home Print E-mail

Las Vegas National is the new home of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of FameOn June 29, 2009, at 1 p.m., the brand new home of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame will be unveiled during a special ceremony featuring members of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame, committee members, dignitaries, area golf professionals, tour players and amateurs.

The new home is located within the clubhouse of the historic Las Vegas National Golf Club, a Las Vegas golf course that has hosted events on both the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour. The new home features a museum-quality exhibit designed by Las Vegas' Cypress Architecture with input from current Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame committee members and other golf community leaders.

2009 PGA Fall ExpoA $10,000 first-place prize, among the largest offered by any PGA Section event, is the main drawing card of a new golf tournament exclusively for PGA Professionals at the 2009 PGA Fall Expo.

The new tournament will be staged simultaneously with the PGA Fall Expo Amateur Shootout (formerly the PGA Fall Expo Golf Outing and Product Testing event) on August 31 at the award-winning Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

WAC Golf Championships Decided in Las Vegas, Reno Print E-mail

2009 WAC Men's Champions New Mexico StateRio Secco Golf Club recently hosted the 2009 Club Glove WAC Golf Championships, where New Mexico State successfully defended its men's title. San Jose State won the women's tournament, which was played at Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno.

The Aggies carded a three-round total of 870 to win by one stroke over Fresno State and claim their third WAC title in four year years. New Mexico State senior Travis Reid also won the individual title after shooting a three-under-par 69 in the final round to finish with a seven-under total of 209.
